Agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Foliana [legal entity name] for your use of the Foliana website and app. By creating an account or using Foliana, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Foliana is

Foliana is a clarity library: short, plain-language explanations of ideas, and a personal atlas of what you have understood. It is an educational tool. It is written to be honest and clear, but it is not professional advice - for medical, legal, financial, or other expert decisions, consult a qualified professional.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details private. In the current version, your account lives in your browser on your device, so you are also responsible for that device. Give accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been misused.

Acceptable use

Foliana is meant to be read and enjoyed. Please do not:

• copy, resell, or redistribute the clarities or their artwork outside the app;
• attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service;
• use Foliana to break the law or infringe the rights of others.

Content and ownership

The clarities, artwork, and the Foliana name and mascot are owned by Foliana and its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to read and use them inside the app.

Anything you create - your notes, highlights, and the shape of your own atlas - stays yours. Where a future version lets you submit content, you keep ownership and grant Foliana only the permission needed to store and show it back to you.

Plans and payment

Foliana offers a free tier, and paid tiers are planned. Paid plans are not yet live in this version, so no payment is taken. When billing launches, the prices, billing cycle, renewal, and cancellation terms will be shown clearly at the point of purchase and added here. The service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Foliana accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and the clarities are educational summaries rather than exhaustive references. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Foliana is provided without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

Ending your use
